Children's Career & Technical Education Station is dedicated to creating and delivering CTE-focused books to children and students in early education. With the increase of focus on CTE as early as middle school, it is essential to extend what CTE is and gain student interest sooner before picking a career path in high school. Through research and exploration, we highlight the importance of CTE-related careers and closing skills gaps within industries. As we develop, we encourage you to explore our children's books with your child and see what the world of CTE has to offer you!
History
Dr. A. N. Nixon began her career in education and agricultural sciences, focusing on enhancing awareness of Career and Technical Education (CTE) among her students. After earning her doctorate, she recognized the importance of addressing her research findings and the existing gaps within CTE, committing herself to further exploration and advocacy through increasing awareness earlier in education.
As part of our efforts in bringing more opportunities to children in early and secondary education, we dedicate part of our proceeds to students and organizations through donations and honorary scholarships.

Our mission is to provide educational resources for children to learn, grow, and explore fundamental knowledge and skills related to career and technical education in hopes to address the skills gaps seen across states and industries.
We are dedicated to educating and being a support system for children in early education where CTE may yet to be explored. Through continued efforts in research and curriculum development we understand what it takes to build and maintain interest early on.
